At Cubbishly Kes Candles, I pride myself on offering candles that are meticulously crafted with love and care. Each candle that is carefully hand-poured goes through a unique process in small batches, guaranteeing the highest level of quality and attention to detail. 😊
I would like you to know that all of my candles at Cubbishly Kes are CLP compliant, vegan and cruelty free.
So I had this idea… why throw a way my disused tins? Why not use them for a particular candle?
My Citronella and Lemongrass candles are all produced from recycled tins. Knowing they will be used outside for a camping trip or a garden BBQ it seemed fitting that they would be perfect for such an occasion.
We all know that the insects love a BBQ! Using one of my candles on such an occasion will make these little pests think twice.
Citronella candles are known for their ability to repel flies and mosquitoes. Citronella oil, derived from the lemongrass plant’s leaves and stems, contains citronellal and geraniol, compounds effective at masking the scents that attract mosquitoes. When citronella candles are burned, they release these compounds into the air, creating a scent barrier that will deter mosquitoes and flies from coming near.

The Amber Wood Wick Range
A Luxury Apothecary Soy Wax Candle.
Hand poured in Dorset using vegan soy wax and fuelled by the wood wick, creating a restfull ambience with a slight crackling sounds. It provides you with approximately 25 hours of burn time. These candles will fill your room with the gorgeous fragrance, Rhubarb and Plum, all contained in a stylish amber jar.

Woodsage & Sea Salt
The Dorset Range have been created exclusively for this popular tourist location. The fragrance, Woodsage & Sea Salt fills your room with sweet mint, green tea, eucalyptus, bergamot and freesia. Followed by Jasmine, white flower, thyme, crystal musk and sandalwood. The distinctive blue labelling has been exclusively designed to represent the ocean.
Each candle comes in a beauitful rose gold tin holding approximately 90gm of soy wax with a burn time of approximately 18 - 20 hours.
