Wicking the Knightsbridge

The Knightsbridge is our largest candle with 7 cotton wicks. Not the easiest candle to wick, so I thought I would share my method with you (rather a crude method but non the less it works.)

Placement of the wick is so important.

I made a template, each circle is 5 cm in diameter, we know from our experience of candle making that a number 2 cotton wick will create a pool (the area that melts. ) When you have 7 of these wicks burning at the same time they create a slightly wider diameter.

So by placing the template in the copper bowl I then mark the bottom of bowl for placement.

With very thin tape I aIign each wick before the wax solidifies.

That is how we create this beautiful hammered Morrocon copper 7 wick centrepiece.
